A 2-year project in collaboration with BfR

2018 - 2019

We have just started a two-year project in cooperation with The German Federal Institute for Risk Assessment (BfR). The project entitled Modeling of dermal absorption of chemicals from solid matrices with integration into PBPK modeling will be carried out in years 2018 - 2019.



2010 - 2013

Computational toxicology - in vitro - in vivo extrapolation of the cardiotoxic effect is a 3-years long project - part of the LIDER program funded by the National Centre for Research and Development.

The main aim of the project is to build flexible, modular system for the early assessment of the cardiotoxic potency of new chemical entities, based on the mathematical modelling tools. It has been planned to develop computer platform (internet based and independent standalone version) which allows simulating in vivo behaviour of the newly synthesized drug molecule in term of action potential duration in human heart cells including inter-individual variability.
